About Us

Expression8 Art was founded in 2008 and officially launched as a visual art institute in 2010 with the vision of nurturing budding artists. Our institute provides a dynamic platform where artists can learn, experiment, and refine their skills through diverse techniques and mediums. Combining a traditional approach with a contemporary touch, our program offers professional guidance across various art forms and subjects. At Expression8 Art, we foster a creative community where artists can inspire one another and showcase their talents to the world.

Under the leadership of Art Director and Head Teacher, Artist Prashanti, Expression8 Art has grown into a thriving artistic hub, offering the community a gateway into the world of art. What began as a small learning center has evolved into a full-fledged Academy—serving as a space to train artists, sell artwork, and host exhibitions. Over the past 15 years, we have proudly educated more than 15,000 students and remain committed to continuing this creative journey for years to come.

Our Art Gallery and Visual Art Learning Institute has been successfully managed for the past four years by our dedicated young Manager, Ms. Pritika Nekkanti. She has skillfully overseen all administrative and operational responsibilities, ensuring the institute’s smooth functioning. Under her leadership, the institute not only endured the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic but also adapted by implementing online courses, allowing hundreds of students to continue their artistic journey. Her invaluable contributions have set a benchmark, and we acknowledge her support in upholding our academy’s reputation as one of the finest art institutions in the Bay Area since 2010.

Our passionate and dedicated staff enthusiastically welcomes new artists, encouraging them to explore a diverse range of art mediums and techniques. We cultivate a vibrant and inspiring environment where every artist can enjoy the creative process while honing their skills. Additionally, our advanced-level students have the opportunity to participate in a paid internship program, gaining real-world teaching experience by instructing Art Level-1 courses for young children. This invaluable experience comes with an official certificate and a recommendation letter, supporting their academic and professional growth.
